Technology Lead-QA Automation

As a Technology Lead in QA - Automation at Infosys BPM, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software through automated testing processes. Your role will involve utilizing core technologies such as Spock, Groovy, and Java, along with tools like Postman, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab/GitHub. Additionally, you will work with databases including Oracle, Cassandra, Postgres, and Solr. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like REST Assured, TestNG, and Selenium WebDriver - Collaborate with the team to implement testing strategies for messaging services like Kafka - Apply Agile methodologies and microservices architecture to enhance the quality of the software - Utilize your understanding of multi-tier web application architecture and REST APIs to ensure quality standards - Conduct testing on Cloud Based applications and use application monitoring tools effectively - Write basic SQL/NoSQL queries for database testing purposes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field - 5 to 6 years of experience in software quality with hands-on quality engineering experience - Familiarity with the software development life cycle and various test cycles including Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance, Volume, and User Acceptance - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze requirements and understand application architecture - Excellent written communication skills for documenting tested features and reporting bugs - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively - Self-motivated individual who can work both independently and collaboratively with team members Please note that the above qualifications are essential for this role.
