Key Roles & Responsibilities

Process Design & Documentation

• Develop design bases, PFDs, P&IDs, and plant layouts for new projects.
• Prepare mass and energy balance tabulations.
• Generate process datasheets for equipment and instruments.
• Create utility consumption summaries, electrical load summaries, interlock descriptions, and relief load summaries.

Engineering & Optimization

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations for process optimization.
• Calculate and evaluate OPEX figures post-basic engineering, benchmark against similar processes, and recommend improvements.

Safety & Compliance

• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and consequence analysis in coordination with the Risk Management Leader.
• Ensure all design and safety aspects are captured during basic engineering.
• Take part in pre-startup safety reviews prior to plant commissioning.

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Float equipment enquiries and prepare technical bid tabulations.
• Support the project team during detail engineering and commissioning phases.

Collaboration & Knowledge Management

• Coordinate with Pilot & Technology Development teams for TTD discussions.
• Maintain design documents as per guidelines and hand over for project execution.
• Support the Technology Manager in developing design standards and manuals.

Team & Culture Development

• Foster a work environment aligned with company values and culture.
• Demonstrate leadership in promoting organizational values.
