Infor LX Techno-Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking customization and development activities as initiated by the management.
• Supporting ERP LX user queries/issues across all ERP LX modules.
• Application-level configuration on Infor platform primarily focused on Infor LX ERP / BPCS.
• Translate functional specifications to design, develop and document technical solutions to customize same in Infor LX.
• Developing & Testing of customizations and suggest corrections/improvements.
• Support interfaces to other business systems.
• Develop and conduct user training sessions.
• Liaise with outsourced customer for ERP issues.
• Monitoring and maintain ERP and other Business systems servers and their licensing.
• Assist in ERP and Business Systems software installation/upgrade plans.

Functional Experience

• Good functional understanding/experience with following modules:
• Manufacturing
• Logistics
• Warehouse
• Service/Finance would be added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Must have 8+ years of experience in Infor LX (BPCS).
• Preferred having atleast 3+ years of technical experience with:
• AS400 RPG/400
• CL/400
• RPGLE, CLLE
• Stored procedures
• ILE programming concepts
• Excellent understanding of Control Language & OS/400 commands.
• In-depth knowledge of:
• SQL/400, Query/400
• DB2/400
• DFU
• Job Schedulers/ROBOT
• Debugging concepts and other AS/400 utilities
• Expertise with SQL queries and performance fine-tuning.
• Experience with Infor LX/IDF will be preferred.
• Good experience in application of standard software development principles.

Implementation & Support

• Implementation experience will be preferred.
• Support interfaces to other business systems.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements

• Must be fluent in English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing and strong customer interaction skills.
• Analytical mind with excellent Data Collection and Analysis skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Candidate should work independently.
• Candidate should have good attitude and learning capability.
• Candidate should be willing to work in shifts.
