Techno Functional Consultant-HP Storage

Role Overview: As a Techno Functional Consultant for HP Storage at Wipro Limited, your role will involve the administration of HP 3PAR, Alletra, and MSA storage devices, along with Brocade and Cisco SAN switches. You will be responsible for activities such as zoning, installation, configuration, and management of SAN devices and Fiber switches. Additionally, you will monitor system performance, storage and backup devices, and be knowledgeable about various backup tools like Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector. Your expertise in HP Storage will be crucial in driving project tasks and upgrading backup tool versions. Key Responsibilities: - Administer HP 3PAR, Alletra, and MSA storage devices - Manage Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, including zoning activities - Install, configure, and manage SAN devices and Fiber switches - Handle storage allocations, de-allocations, share creation, zoning, and hardware replacement activities - Review system performance and efficiency - Monitor storage and backup devices - Utilize ServiceNow ITSM tool for incident, change, and problem management - Monitor backups involving Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector - Upgrade Commvault, Veeam, and Data Protector versions - Demonstrate strong knowledge of Storeonce and Tape libraries - Possess a basic understanding of NAS storage, Hyper-V, and VMware Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - 5-8 years of experience in HP Storage administration - Strong technical skills in Commvault and Data Protector - Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM tool - Familiarity with storage and backup administration tools - Basic understanding of NAS storage, Hyper-V, and VMware Join Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company, in building innovative solutions and realizing your boldest ambitions.
