You will be a part of a 24/7 IT backup operations team and will have direct responsibility for Backup-related processes. Your role will involve taking a leadership position with customer teams and internal teams to resolve issues, maintain managed Commvault / Zerto backup operations, and restore systems to operational status when needed. Communication between technical teams, customers, and internal departments will be a key aspect to meet customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Your specific responsibilities will include maintaining complex Backup Solutions involving Virtual libraries, Disk to Disk Backup systems, physical Tape Libraries, OS, Backup Software, Switch, SAN, or Library components. You will support and troubleshoot backup, recovery, and archiving in a large, complex, and widely distributed environment. Analyzing daily backup failures, identifying root causes, and systematically resolving issues to improve the Backup success rate close to 100% will also be part of your role. You will provide status and progress reports for backup environment-related activities and tasks on a regular basis.
