Job Description

Profile:- EV Technician

Key Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:Identify and repair electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools.
Maintenance:Perform routine checks, software updates, and system calibrations on EV components.
Component Replacement:Handle the replacement of batteries, motors, controllers, and other high-voltage components.
Battery Management:Work with high-voltage battery systems, including configuration, testing, and safe handling.
Quality Assurance:Conduct inspections and tests to ensure repaired vehicles meet manufacturer standards.
Documentation:Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

High-Voltage Systems:Specialized training in safely handling and repairing high-voltage (e.g., 300VDC and above) systems.
EV Components:Understanding of lithium-ion batteries, electric motors, power electronics, and battery management systems (BMS).
Software & Diagnostics:Ability to interpret diagnostic information and configure software for various EV systems.
Mechanical & Electrical Fundamentals:Strong foundation in traditional automotive systems, as EVs integrate both.

Training and Certification

Specialized Training:Programs are available from various technical institutes and government initiatives, focusing on hands-on skills and knowledge of EV technology.
Certification:Opportunities exist for certified Electric Vehicle Technicians through organizations like O*NET OnLine and CSA Group.
Continuous Learning:Staying updated on new EV technologies and servicing techniques is crucial.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
