Laboratory Manager

Handling Haematology, Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology

Assure that the results reported are accurate. . (Reporting and authentication of Hematology, clinical Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry and immunoassay tests)

To review the slides and provide a diagnostic report to the clients.

Interacting with doctors, for test ordering practices, clarification and reports and counseling patients as an when required.

Interacting with doctors, for test ordering practices, clarification and reports and counseling patients whenever circumstances permit.

Ensure results are reported within turnaround time through Sectional Heads & review their performance in light of this.

Managing paper work (preparation of SOPs and STPs, internal audits, reporting of adverse events, and so on)

Responsible for the designated departments test authorizations

Ensure good clinical practices - Planning & implementation of internal Quality Control, External Quality Control & proficiency tests with Complaint handling & reducing complaints

Responsible documentation of clerical, analytical, pre-analytical error and other management

Keeping laboratory supplies , inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt

Maintain equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns; ensure efficient supplies; calling for repairs.

Optimum Utilization of staff & equipment - Train, motivate, develop and guide the human resource in order to enhance effectiveness at the work place.

Provide training to team on good laboratory practices

Manage manpower at laboratory with excellent leadership and man management skills

Daily meeting with staff to review and plan daily / weekly / monthly activities and issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,800.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai - 400089, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Technician: 3 years (Preferred)
