As an IT Technician at our company, your role will involve being a reference point for all IT-related queries at the client level, responding promptly to user needs, and ensuring the optimal functioning of all systems. Your technical duties will include installing and configuring hardware and software components, troubleshooting issues, ensuring electrical safety standards, and managing technical documentation. You will also be responsible for establishing good relationships with colleagues from various departments, performing daily backup operations, and providing support to users as the first point of contact for error reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Installing and configuring hardware and software components for usability - Troubleshooting hardware and software issues - Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards - Repairing or replacing damaged hardware - Upgrading the system for software compatibility - Installing and updating anti-virus software for user security - Conducting tests and evaluations of new software and hardware - Providing user support and handling error reporting - Establishing good relationships with departments and colleagues - Managing technical documentation **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EC or related field - 2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance - A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in database programming and software installation - Strong attention to detail - Effective problem-solving skills In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will be expected to engage with colleagues from different departments and executive levels, listening to their technical needs, understanding their problems, and implementing appropriate solutions.
