Technician - Dialysis

Medcare Hospitals Medical Centres is looking for Technician - Dialysis to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Set up and prepare dialysis machines and equipment for patient treatments according to prescribed protocols and procedures.
Monitor and adjust dialysis machines during treatments to ensure proper functioning and optimal treatment parameters, such as blood flow rates, dialysate composition, and ultrafiltration rates.Access and cannulate vascular access sites, such as arteriovenous fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters, under the direction of a registered nurse or nephrologist.Administer local anesthesia, anticoagulants, and other medications as ordered by the healthcare provider to facilitate safe and comfortable dialysis procedures.Monitor patients' vital signs, blood pressure, and overall condition throughout dialysis treatments, and report any abnormalities or concerns to the healthcare team.Document treatment parameters, patient responses, and clinical observations accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR) systems or paper charts.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, fluid management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation before, during, and after dialysis treatments to ensure patient comfort and safety.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment, water treatment systems, and treatment areas to ensure compliance with infection control standards and equipment safety protocols.
