Technician, CRC

As a Supply Chain Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, your role involves performing functions associated with all manufacturing and system operations. You will work closely with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, failure analysis, and documenting/following standard operating procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for supply chain management integration and practice, using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate quality and supply chain data for in-line adjustments to repaired or cleaned parts. Your tasks will also include determining and assisting in the development of methods and procedures to control or modify the quality management or SCM process, while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Supply chain and part quality troubleshooting and problem-solving - Collaboration with vendors, engineering teams, and unit parts - Monitoring of performance/process and analysis for improvement - Creation and revision of SOPs - Mentoring and coaching junior associates on quality mindset and technician role - Performing advanced part inspections for abnormalities, discrepancies, or quality concerns - Use of advanced measurement equipment for testing outbound and inbound parts Qualifications: - Associates degree or military equivalent, or 4 years of SAS technician experience - SAS Tech II minimum - Knowledge in supply chain management, statistics, and Nano Worksmart - Expertise in part inspection, sampling, testing, equipment troubleshooting, part replacement, and metrology Please note that the workdays and hours for this position are on a CWW, D-Shift schedule. ,
