Job Description

As a member of Cisco's Information Technology team, you will play a crucial role in building and managing the internal AI platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and implementation of a GPU compute cluster for deep learning and high-performance computing. - Providing expertise in AI hardware analysis, design, procurement, and support. - Building and supporting NVIDIA based artificial intelligence platforms. - Automating configuration management, software updates, and maintenance using modern DevOps tools. - Collaborating with internal teams and technical domains to advance AI platforms and practices. - Administering Linux systems, ranging from GPU enabled servers to general-purpose compute systems. - Designing new tools for monitoring alerts and ensuring system health. - Staying updated with AI industry advancements and technologies. You will work as part of a hardware and software engineering team, contributing to the design and development of Hybrid-Cloud compute platforms critical for Cisco's business applications and processes. To be successful in this role, you should have: - A degree in CS, EE, CE or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience deploying and administrating HPC clusters. - Proficiency in Hybrid Cloud, Virtualization, and Container technologies. - Deep understanding of operating systems, computer networks, and high-performance applications. - Familiarity with project tracking, version control, and CI/CD systems. - Proficiency in programming languages and development platforms. - Experience with Agile and DevOps operating models. - Strong dedication to providing quality support for customers.
