Technical Support Engineer

As a Linux System Administrator in this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Linux systems, particularly in HPC environments. Your main responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems. - Basic knowledge of Linux operating system with hands-on experience in installation. - Configuration of nfs, smb, iscsi storage. - Understanding of HPC architecture and components. - Familiarity with job schedulers like SLURM, PBS, or similar. - Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting. - Understanding of PFS file system (Beegfs). To qualify for this position, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in Linux system administration or support. - Experience in HPC environments is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Please note that candidates with certifications such as RHCSA are preferred.
