Technical Support Engineer - LIMS Integration

Job Summary: As an Integration Specialist for LIMS, your primary responsibility will be to integrate various lab instruments/software with the LIMS application to establish a paperless environment in QC/R&D Labs at Sun Pharma. This role necessitates a profound understanding of laboratory workflows, instrument connectivity techniques, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the LIMS aligns with the organization's requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: - Assist in the integration of QC/R&D lab instruments with the LIMS application during the implementation phase at different Sun Pharma locations. - Develop and execute test scripts and necessary documentation for validation activities. - Customize LIMS software to cater to specific needs during instrument integration processes. - Provide training and support to end-users to ensure their proficiency in utilizing the LIMS. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to LIMS performance, functionality, and integration with other systems/instruments. - Maintain detailed documentation of the LIMS implementation process, including user guides and technical manuals. - Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the documentation of the LIMS application and manage the documentation to ensure compliance. Qualifications and Preferences: Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in LIMS implementation and Instrument Integration, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting. - Thorough understanding of laboratory processes and workflows. - Proficiency in Lab Software functionalities such as Empower, LabSolutions, Chromeleon. - Strong grasp of data extraction/connectivity methodologies for port-based instruments like balances, pH meters, etc. - Proficient in LIMS software (Preferably expertise in CaliberLIMS). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as FDA, GMP, GLP. Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. - Familiarity with laboratory instruments and their integration with LIMS. - Experience with Caliber LIMS is preferred. - Good documentation skills for GxP documents creation and management.
