Job Description

The Technical Support Engineer 2 (I6), with expertise in Chinese/Japanese/Korean languages, is responsible for understanding and implementing all GAM processes. This role requires cross-functional training to handle various intakes such as Chat, Lightning case & Portal web requests. Within Lightning case, agents will address data correction issues and manage bulk ownership transfer requests submitted via the Dell support site. The role involves providing operational support through diverse process activities to meet business requirements and researching and obtaining specific information/details requested by the customer. In this role, you will establish a working knowledge and application of specialized tool sets, demonstrate internal operational understanding of process workflow, apply specialized knowledge to daily tasks, possess a strong understanding of work processes and procedures, understand Knowledge Management tools and technologies, and have broad knowledge of all related processes. Essential Requirements: - Proficiency in EXCEL, preferably with Advanced excel skills (vlookup, pivot table, etc.) - Experience with CHAT (SFDC Lightning), Macro use, and other Dell internal tools. - Ability to handle multiple workstreams effectively. - Proficient in Chinese/Japanese/Korean and English languages (Written & Verbal). - Capability to manage challenging customer engagements and de-escalation skills. - Intermediate SQL knowledge, familiarity with power BI & Tableau, and basic Project Management skills. Desirable Requirements: - 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in customer or technical support roles. - Proficiency in Chinese/Japanese/Korean languages.
