Technical Specialist

As a Tech Architect at Iskraemeco & GCC Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of complex products related to electricity, water, and gas metering for the global market. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Participating in the design of complex products and ensuring harmony between hardware and software solutions based on Technical Requirements. - Making recommendations to enhance assemblies in terms of technical characteristics, standardization, and cost optimization. - Creating functional and final prototypes, conducting testing, verification, and analyses, and identifying product flaws. - Developing test scenarios and necessary documentation. - Managing tasks related to Q-cases and change requests in special cases. - Contributing to architecture design and adhering to relevant technical standards and company certifications. - Sharing knowledge and information with colleagues to foster a collaborative work environment. Your key duties will involve: - Designing and developing digital & analogue power (energy) meters, communication modules like NBJoT, RF, cellular technologies, transducers, and protection products. - Planning, documenting, and developing new hardware products from initial requirements to production-ready prototypes. - Maintaining existing designs and creating new variants to incorporate new features or address component end-of-life issues. - Developing schematics, converting them to PCB layouts, and generating Gerber files for PCB manufacturers. - Collaborating with Hardware team members, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure the production of reliable, world-class products. - Conducting tests, analyzing prototypes, and preparing analysis reports. - Troubleshooting hardware-related problems and developing appropriate test procedures. - Ensuring compliance with all requirement documents and version control processes.
