Iskraemeco is a global player in the smart metering industry with 80 years of experience. The Global Capability Centre, Kolkata (GCC Kolkata), located in Salt Lake City, Kolkata, is dedicated to providing cutting-edge products and solutions in electricity, water, and gas metering worldwide. Iskraemeco India is supported by an integrated electronics factory in Hyderabad. They are expanding with a new 11-floor GCC and factory in Silicon Valley, New Town. As a Tech Architect at Iskraemeco, your primary responsibilities will include: - Participating in the design of complex products and harmonizing solutions between hardware and software programs based on Technical Requirements. - Making recommendations for improving assemblies in terms of technical characteristics, standardization, and cost-efficiency. - Creating functional and final prototypes, conducting testing, verification, and analyses, and developing test scenarios to identify product flaws. - Managing tasks related to Q-cases and change requests in special cases. - Being involved in architecture design and ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards and regulations. - Sharing knowledge and information with colleagues. - Designing and developing digital & analogue power meters, communication modules, transducers, and protection products. - Planning, documenting, and developing new hardware products from initial requirements through production. - Maintaining existing designs, developing new variants, and generating Gerber files for PCB manufacturing. - Collaborating with Hardware team members, Product Management, Software Engineering, and Manufacturing to produce reliable and world-class products. - Testing prototypes, troubleshooting hardware problems, and developing appropriate test procedures to ensure correct operation. - Complying with all requirement documents and version control processes.
