Job Description

As an Account Manager (Technical Sales) for Droplet Digital PCR, your role will involve managing direct sales in order to meet business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction within your designated territory. You will be responsible for achieving strong customer satisfaction and building brand equity. Your responsibilities will also include techno-commercial engagement such as presentations and discussions, as well as Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management. Key Responsibilities: - Drive and deliver revenue growth for the assigned product portfolio within the genomics group. - Generate leads, engage in techno-commercial discussions, progress and close sales for high-end genomics platforms and related consumables. - Collaborate closely with the Sales manager, application team, and distributors to nurture, mature, and close opportunities. - Conduct technical discussions with customers, including one-on-one interactions and seminars, to persuade them to purchase assigned products/technologies. - Maintain relationships with existing users to develop them as positive reference sites and drive related consumable sales. Qualifications Required: - M.Sc/M.Tech or PhD in Biotech, Biochemistry, Genetics, or allied life sciences. - 5-7 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in technical sales. - Excellent technical and practical knowledge of Genomics technologies used in Life Sciences. - Hands-on experience with Life Sciences Instruments such as RT-PCR, NGS, and Microarray. - Experience in handling customers from diverse segments like Academia, Bio-Pharma, clinical oncology, and translational research. - Ability to screen and identify potential customers for selling new products, with experience in successfully commercializing new launches.
