Technical Sales Manager- Automotive

As an ideal candidate for the position, you must have experience in Automotive parts/aftermarket/spare parts industry. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively engage with international customers. It is crucial to be proficient in addressing both technical and commercial concerns before proposing offers to customers. Candidates with an Engineering background coupled with an MBA qualification and prior international travel exposure will be given preference. Your core responsibilities will involve liaising with current and potential customers to confirm new orders, address inquiries, and facilitate overall communication. You will be tasked with expanding the customer base through digital marketing strategies, scouting for potential B2B clients at trade fairs, business trips, and customer meetings. Additionally, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling to existing clients, pinpointing products anticipated to be popular in the near future, and collaborating with the engineering team for their development are key aspects of the role. You will be expected to provide monthly updates on achieving sales targets, participate in trade fairs, train and cultivate a secondary team of marketing executives, monitor response times to customer queries, and enhance efficiency in this aspect continuously. Furthermore, creating product catalogs for marketing purposes and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries are integral parts of the job.
