Purpose
- Lead the Technical Safety activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards
- Contribute to the capitalization of the Project experience in order to improve and harmonize work methodologies and to the continuous technical improvement
Responsibilities
Bid projects:
? Take part to the commercial activities (promotion, pre-qualification and bidding) by assuring uniform approach and guidancecrosswise the initiatives? Use technological/technical know-how and in-house experience to support the commercial promotion activity? Analyze the Tender Documents (technical and contractual) in order to verify their completeness and consistency? Set up the queries to be raised to Client for clarifications and take part in preparing qualifications and deviations to proposal? Define the responsibilities within its own remit and identify responsibilities of the other project disciplines? Ensure the preparation of Technical Safety deliverables and the development of activities necessary to develop thetechnical proposal? Ensure quantities and cost estimate related Technical Safety equipment and materials? Ensure the man-hours estimate related to the engineering and procurement for the Technical Safety scope
Executive Projects
? Take part in the definition of the detail project execution strategy? Take part to the project risk assessment? Define list of activities and deliverables, set up time schedule, coordinate activities in accordance with contractual
Requirements
? Ensure proper discipline workflow, interfaces, quality checks and approval of all discipline project documents? Ensure discipline project progress, monitor and control man-hour consumption? Develop the Technical Safety activities and deliverables according to Contractual requirements and ensuring respect ofquality, budget and schedule? Coordinate the Technical Safety and Environment team members throughout the project, as required by the role defined inthe Project organization chart? Support Project effort with identification of changes to the Contract scope? Track and report to the Project Management the discipline scope of work changes updating man-hours and cost estimate? Grant interface with the Client technical representative? Participate to the multidisciplinary project reviews? Manage the different interfaces? For the materials and services within remit, define and issue Purchase Requisitions, ensuring Technical Bids Evaluationsand Vendors/Subcontractors follow-up activities? Inform on a permanent basis the Technical Manager and if required the Project Manager of any foreseen technical orfinancial or delay risk? Assist the Project engineering and management teams in the Risk Management process for design and operation phases(i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Functional Safety, Technical Integrity, etc)
