Technical Project Mgr III

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business, data engineering, and BI teams to define project scope, goals, and success metrics.
• Develop and prioritize product strategies, roadmaps, and backlogs in partnership with lead engineers and architects.
• Communicate project outcomes, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
• Facilitate agile processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Drive project execution, ensuring timely delivery and effective risk management.
• Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and sprint-sized tasks.
• Monitor product progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements.
• Makes decisions for product & clearly communicates priorities, ensures buy-in, alignment, and support from key stakeholders & cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals.
• Organize and lead regular project meetings to provide updates on project status, milestones, and upcoming tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive multiple workstreams through large-scale technical projects effectively and efficiently.
• Experience with agile methodology to manage the project and facilitate scrum ceremonies.

• Creates requirements and synthesizes into user stories; Breaks requirements into iterative sprint-sized stories to optimize speed-to-value
• Work collaboratively with a delivery team of Data Engineers, BI developers and Analysts to design and deliver products that provide the insights our stakeholders require to make strategic and tactical business decisions
• Ensures on-time delivery of projects

Minimum Requirements:

• BTECH

  - 6-8 years

  of experience in an IT/technology project management role in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced level knowledge of JIRA or similar agile project management tools.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication, technology, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Experience using Confluence or similar tool for requirements capturing
• Career ambitions and vision to grow and develop beyond project management into a leadership role.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Experience with Agile methodologies (epics, features, stories,), modern software development practices (test-driven development), and tools (Jira, Confluence).

Preferred Requirements

• Strong understanding of data engineering and data warehousing concepts and tools, especially Snowflake and Informatica.
• Strong understanding of BI development concepts and tools like PowerBI, DOMO, Tableau, etc.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, adapting to changing project requirements.
• Prior experience working with Data Engineering and/ or BI Development team.
