Description
The Technical Project Manager for AI & Infrastructure Services at Lenovo is a key role responsible for leading and coordinating AI and infrastructure service initiatives across internal teams, customers, and partners. In this role, you will drive internal offering development, manage customer AI-driven projects, support strategic partnerships, and ensure governance for key business management systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI, cloud services, and project management methodologies. Your responsibilities will include leading internal offering development projects, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and infrastructure service offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, roadmaps, and execution strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of offerings aligned with business objectives. You will also lead customer AI-Focused Infrastructure Solutions (AIFS) and Proof-of-Concept (POC) Projects, driving AI and cloud-based proof-of-concept projects for enterprise customers, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements, and overseeing execution, risk management, and performance evaluation of AI-based projects. Furthermore, you will support partner initiatives such as the AI Innovators Program, working closely with technology partners to advance AI innovation, facilitate collaboration between internal teams and partner ecosystems, and ensure alignment with industry trends and emerging AI technologies. You will be responsible for providing governance and status reporting for Business Management Systems (BMS), establishing project governance frameworks, maintaining BMS status updates, tracking project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicating project progress and risk mitigation strategies to leadership. Additionally, you will support Operational Development Teams (ODTs) as needed, providing project management oversight for ODTs working on AI and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring alignment between ODT deliverables and broader organizational goals, and facilitating cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in technical project management, AI, cloud computing, or IT infrastructure. You should possess strong knowledge of AI, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and enterprise IT solutions, a proven track record in leading complex AI/IT projects with multiple stakeholders, proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies, and experience with partner and ecosystem management in the AI/IT industry. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Preferred skills include PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification, hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud-based POC implementations, and an understanding of governance and compliance frameworks in enterprise IT.
