Technical Product Support Specialist I

As a Contributor API Support at Sabre, you will be responsible for providing advanced support, complex issue handling, and in-depth customer management for Sabre's online customer segment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with developers to build new applications that consume Sabre APIs, customer representatives, and internal Sabre employees for service improvement and strategic initiatives. - Serving as the first point of contact for online customers regarding the integration of Sabre APIs and tools for their online site deployment. - Developing testing clients, validating XML files and schemas, and debugging customer scenarios to find system bugs. - Investigating non-conforming SOAP & REST APIs, providing solutions to users, and participating in customer projects. Your core skills should include a desire for strategic problem-solving and customer management, excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, quick knowledge sharing, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment. Technical skills required are expertise in XML, SOAP, REST, HTML, and preferably Sabre domain knowledge. You should also have good writing skills for technical documents and user guides. The ideal candidate for this role would be a graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject with relevant experience. Knowledge of web development/online programming languages and travel distribution/agency operations would be advantageous. Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required for this position.
