Technical Product Support Specialist I

As a Contributor API Support at Sabre, you will be responsible for providing advanced support and complex issue handling for Sabre's online customer segment. You will work closely with developers building new applications that consume Sabre APIs, customer representatives, and internal Sabre employees to improve service, support, and strategic initiatives. Being the first point of contact for online customers, you will assist in integrating Sabre APIs and tools for their online sites, including developing testing clients, validating XML files, and reproducing customer scenarios to debug and find system bugs. Additionally, you will investigate non-conforming SOAP & REST APIs and train users to implement solutions, while also being involved in customer projects. Your core skills should include a desire for strategic problem-solving and customer management, excellent communication skills, proficiency in written and spoken English, quick knowledge sharing abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to multitask effectively in a team environment. In terms of technical skills, you should have advanced expertise in XML, SOAP, REST, or HTML languages. Knowledge of Sabre domain is a plus, along with good writing skills to produce technical documents and user guides. The ideal candidate for this position would be a graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience. While knowledge of web development/online programming languages and travel distribution/agency operations domain would be advantageous, it is not essential. Please note that availability to work on weekends and holidays is required for this position.
