TECHNICAL LEADER ENGINEER

As a Sheet Metal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the parametric design of sheet metal parts such as Front Door, Rear Door, Hood, Fender & Tailgate using CATIA V6 & PLM application. Your role will involve managing CAD model studies of complex systems made by multiple parts while ensuring feasibility and vehicle packaging constraints are respected with the CAD team. It is crucial for you to guarantee the application of design rules and best practices throughout the design process. In situations where there is non-convergence, you will be accountable for alerting stakeholders and initiating the escalation process with Cis and/or Cps. Additionally, you will analyze CAE and Physical test reports and implement necessary changes to meet the target in agreement with the Engineering Specialist. Ensuring the QCDP status of the scope is achieved and preparing QCDP status for CP and project reviews will also be part of your responsibilities. Leading technical issue and change management, driving convergence of the condition plan with all stakeholders, ensuring the deadline of deliveries & release, and building the schedule (nomenclature and associated deadlines) of its scope are key aspects of this role.
