Job Description

We are currently seeking for a Tech Lead - Salesforce Field Service Lightning

The Technical Lead for Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) will provide strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise in architecting, developing, and deploying robust FSL solutions for business operations. This role includes translating operational needs into scalable Salesforce FSL configurations, overseeing technical delivery, and acting as the primary technical authority for FSL implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce FSL for complex field service operations.

Analyze business processes and service operations to define FSL solution requirements and technical specifications.

Configure and customize FSL features such as:

Work Orders & Service Appointments

Scheduling & Dispatch

Mobile App (setup/custom flows)

Skills, Territories & Resource Management

Dispatcher Console, Operating Hours, and Reporting

Integrate FSL with internal and external systems (e.g., ERP, inventory, customer portals) using APIs and middleware.

Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, flows, process builders, and Visualforce pages as per solution design.

Serve as the subject matter expert for all FSL technical matters, guiding development, configuration, and issue resolution.

Establish technical guidelines, best practices, and development standards for the team.

Conduct technical code and architecture reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, functional consultants, and service teams.

Produce robust technical documentation (design specs, configuration guides, and user manuals).

Provide post-delivery support, troubleshooting, and solution enhancement.

Conduct training and enablement sessions for users, dispatchers, and technicians.

Stay updated on new Salesforce and FSL features, advocating continuous improvement.

Mentor and guide junior team members and foster their professional development.

Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and Salesforce platform governance.
