Technical Lead (Python)

As a Python Lead at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for leading a team of 6-8 Python developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. You will design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable Python applications and APIs using Django or other frameworks. Your expertise in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Events, EC2, and Docker Containerization will be essential for this role. Additionally, your experience with NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL or Mongo, as well as SQL, will be valuable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a team of 6-8 Python developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. - Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable Python applications and APIs using Django or other frameworks. - Experience of working with NoSQL databases (any of these PostgreSQL, Mongo). - Good experience in SQL. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and develop solutions that meet business objectives. - Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Python development and AWS services, and provide recommendations for improvement. - Establish and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines within the team. - Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of experience in Python development. - 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead in a Python development team. - Expertise in developing robust and scalable solutions in Python using frameworks like Django, Flask, or Pyramid. - Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Events, EC2, and Docker Containerization. - Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Mongo) and SQL.
