Technical Lead - Node.js

As a Node.js Technical Lead at Taazaa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing Node.js development, providing leadership, and hands-on coding expertise. Your responsibilities will include guiding the technical direction, mentoring developers, and actively contributing to the codebase to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of Node.js projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement the desired architecture for the assigned project with proficiency. - Work closely with the Project Lead to set up timelines. - Execute the created plan to achieve milestones. - Participate in client communication and provide precise and complete information. - Be a solution provider and mentor to team members. - Establish standard and consistent coding practices. - Communicate precisely and completely in a timely manner. - Be a strong team player with a passion for technology. **Qualifications:** **Technical Skills:** - 7+ years of industry experience with 5 years in Node.js. - Proficient in Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS, SailsJS, HapiJS, etc. - Proficient in RDBMS such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL. - Proficient in NOSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB. - Proficient in writing Restful APIs. - Proficient in JavaScript with ES NEXT Standards. - Proficient in Version Control Systems based on Git, including branching strategies. - Good to have proficiency in TypeScript. - Good to have proficiency in SPA frameworks such as Angular and React. - Good to have proficiency in any Message Queue. - Good to have an understanding of Microservices. - Good to have working knowledge of any Cloud Platform like AWS or GCP. **Behavioral Skills:** - Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to lead by example and mentor junior developers. - Effective Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to convey ideas effectively. - Problem-Solving Attitude: Proactively identify challenges and develop innovative solutions. - Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and encourage collaboration. - Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
