Role & responsibilities The individual will be responsible for guiding the data team through complex technical challenges, ensuring high-quality data solutions, aligning technical efforts with business goals. He/she is also responsible for mentoring the team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of data related projects. Must Have : - Experience working on projects/solutions from scratch rather than maintenance project. Experience with analysing and designing data pipelines. Experience on working with ETL on a data warehouse or big data projects. Experience with cloud services like Azure or GCP or AWS with respect to the data related services. Experience in python or any other programming using tools on cloud. Understands concepts like streaming data processing, data lake, and distributed data architecture. Good SQL skills and able to solve complex problems in database SQL language efficiently. Able to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues in complex enterprise product. Can work as an individual contributor as well as leading projects with a small team of engineers. Basic understanding of reporting tools and basic visuals; should be able to tell a story from data using visual aids. Actively participate and manage design and code reviews. Estimate, plan and assign tasks to team members (not independently, with the help of a project manager is fine).
