Technical Lead - Engineering

Role Overview: As a Technical Lead at the company, your primary responsibility will be designing and developing product modules and features using the best software development practices. You will be expected to lead modules, taking complete ownership from design to delivery on both technical and execution fronts. Your role will also involve analyzing and troubleshooting production issues, mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and assisting in designing large-scale distributed applications using a modern enterprise tech stack. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of product modules and features - Analyze and troubleshoot production issues - Mentor team members and conduct code reviews - Assist in designing large-scale distributed applications using modern enterprise tech stack - Stay updated with the latest technologies and implement best software development practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery - Demonstrate a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and cloud computing fundamentals - Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) frameworks - Proficient in using source control technologies like Git or Azure DevOps - Familiarity with Scrum methodology, CI/CD, and branching/merging strategies - Strong communication and presentation skills Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech/MTech/MCA in Computer Science Engineering - 9+ years of hands-on programming experience with technologies such as .Net Framework/.Net Core, Angular, SQL Server, MongoDB, Azure cloud services, Event-based programming, Elasticsearch, Redis/Mem Cache, Microservices - Sound knowledge of data structures and algorithms - Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) Frameworks - Proficiency in using source control technologies like Git or Azure DevOps - Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, protocols, libraries, or languages as needed - Experience with docker-based containerized applications will be an added advantage - Previous experience in a product-based company will be preferred Additional Company Details: Milestone Inc. has been a leading provider of digital marketing software and services for location-based businesses for over 20 years.
