Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to translate requirements and implement product features to perfection. You will work directly with developers as a team lead, managing products to conceptualize, build, test, and realize interactive web and mobile products. Your role will involve delivering best-in-class code, focusing on continuous improvement through innovation and learning. You should have a knack for benchmarking and optimization and be able to develop features for highly complex transaction processing systems. Additionally, you will be expected to implement functionality for automated tests, debug production issues, optimize existing implementations, and stay updated on the latest technology trends to improve the product in alignment with the business. Key Responsibilities: - Translate requirements and implement product features - Work as a team lead with developers to manage product development - Deliver high-quality code for interactive web and mobile products - Continuously improve products through innovation and learning - Develop features for complex transaction processing systems - Implement automated tests and ensure coding standards are met - Debug production issues and create mitigation plans - Optimize the performance of existing implementations - Stay updated on technology trends and leverage them for product improvement Qualifications Required: - 7-9 years of experience as a Backend developer - Proficiency in Node.JS & Nestjs, with good to have experience in Javascript, Java, Typescript - Experience in database architecture and design with SQL (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) systems - Knowledge of DOM manipulation, CSS functionalities, and processors - Familiarity with memory management, multithreaded programming, and background processing - Strong emphasis on unit-testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) - Ability to debug complex problems and analyze production system logs - Understanding of various data storage options like Relational and NoSQL databases - Experience with CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins/CircleCI - Knowledge of Microservices architecture - Proficiency in Agile Development methodologies like SCRUM and JIRA - Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git, Bitbucket, Mercurial, SVN, etc. - Experience with WebSocket, REDIS, Memcached, and Cloud Messaging Frameworks - Knowledge of Elasticsearch ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) and REST API integration - Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, and a team player mindset Note: The additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.
