Technical Lead / Assistant Manager Backend Developer

As a Technical Lead / AM Java Developer at our company based in Pune, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with a strong focus on both hands-on development and team management. Your primary goal will be to build high-quality software products through collaboration and commitment to excellence. Your key responsibilities will include mentoring and managing the team of developers, overseeing performance evaluations, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team culture. You will guide the team in designing, developing, and delivering robust solutions while ensuring adherence to coding standards and industry best practices. Additionally, you will be required to implement and continuously improve development processes, tools, and workflows using Agile/Scrum methodologies. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a strong hands-on experience in Java, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Web Services. Knowledge of Microservices, Angular, or React will be considered an added advantage. You should possess sound logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you must have prior experience in handling a team of 3-6 developers and hold a degree in any specialization or equivalent experience in programming. Your proactive approach in raising issues, seeking clarity on requirements, and taking ownership of key modules will be crucial for the success of the projects you will be working on.
