Technical Java Engineering Manager

Role Overview: As a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience, you will lead and mentor a scrum team to build an omni-channel messaging product using cutting-edge technology. Your primary responsibility will be to engineer highly scalable and reliable messaging products for SMS aggregation and other communication channels. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with business teams to align product deliveries with business demands, ensuring customer requirements are met effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Holding accountability for your team(s) and product(s) while striving to achieve company goals and growth. - Defining, measuring, and maintaining the quality of deliverables by your team. - Helping your team follow Scrum methodology for project delivery. - Growing your team by strategic planning, decision-making, talent acquisition, and career development. - Promoting intellectual rigor, identifying skill gaps, and providing necessary training for your team's development. - Ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery within cost, schedule, and expected quality. - Creating technical requirement documentation and ensuring traceability of requirements at the system level. - Driving your team forward by maintaining excellent delivery standards, code quality, and continuous improvement. - Managing and ensuring correct implementation of requirements and design by the project team. - Contributing to defining solution and subsystem architecture, executing POCs, and benchmarking exercises. - Analyzing product issues and providing relevant solutions, taking complete ownership. - Driving strategic initiatives like productivity, automation, outsourcing, and location competitiveness. Qualification Required: Your skill set should include deep knowledge and hands-on skills in areas such as scalable solution design, high-level language proficiency (e.g., C++/Java/Python), message-oriented middleware, PostgreSQL, internet workings, cloud architecture, socket-level programming, REST API design, CI/CD, QA lifecycle, JIRA, Github, and more. Desired skills like Erlang/Elixir and SMPP understanding would be beneficial for this role.,
