Technical Engineer II

As a Senior Anaplan Model Builder at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and implementing effective Anaplan solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the creation and refinement of Anaplan models to meet the needs of finance and supply chain functions. - Engaging with stakeholders in finance, operations, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable Anaplan solutions. - Continuously improving and expanding existing models to incorporate evolving business requirements and support organizational growth. - Serving as the in-house Anaplan expert, offering training, guidance, and support to end-users across the organization. - Executing data integration and process automation tasks to maintain and enhance the platform's alignment with changing business needs. - Partnering with cross-functional teams to standardize and streamline financial and supply chain planning processes, enhancing efficiency and consistency. - Defining and governing best practices for Anaplan model design, such as managing the use of sparsity, minimizing circular references, and optimizing the size of modules and lists. - Designing models for maximum performance. - Defining and owning the Integration strategy from/to various systems from/to Anaplan. - Regularly reviewing and optimizing Anaplan models for performance and areas of improvement. - Designing intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and interfaces in Anaplan that meet the needs of end users and provide actionable insights. - Documenting model designs, business rules, and key processes for future reference. - Providing guidance and mentorship to junior model builders. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Engineering degree in computer science, data science, IT or a related field. - Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect with a history of successful end-to-end Anaplan solution implementations. - Strong understanding of supply chain and financial planning business processes. - Advanced proficiency in Anaplan model building, including dashboard design, data integration, and multi-dimensional planning. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable Anaplan models. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and functionality. - Advanced Anaplan Model Builder certifications or participation in Anaplan's Advanced Model Performance Optimization Training is a plus. - Experience with any Object oriented programming language (Python, Java etc) is a must.
