Job Description

As a Technical Design Lead at KONE, you will be responsible for upholding the integrity and quality of technical designs for KONE IT AWS, ensuring they are optimized and future-proof. You will collaborate with various teams to implement planned changes in a technically correct manner, validate and approve technical designs during product development, and play an active role in identifying opportunities to enhance service performance and address technical debt. Your role will involve providing hands-on support to platform and product owners on technical matters, including resolving technical dependencies and addressing technical debt. **Main responsibilities:** - Collaborate with product owners and team members to clarify proposed changes from a technical perspective. - Bring technical insights during backlog refinement and prioritization. - Ensure the quality of technical designs throughout the lifecycle of IT products and platforms. - Create technical designs for implementing backlog items and addressing non-functional requirements. - Maintain alignment with quality and compliance standards, including cybersecurity. - Minimize technical complexity by promoting out-of-the-box functionality. - Plan and implement technical dependencies between IT products based on architecture guidelines. - Review, validate, and approve technical changes, providing guidance to team members. - Identify improvements in performance and eliminate technical debt. - Support Operations teams in addressing critical operational issues. - Manage technology activities and ensure technical documentation is up-to-date. - Promote DevOps ways of working and improve DevOps maturity capabilities. **Professional Requirements:** - Functional and architectural understanding of IT products, platforms, and related technologies. - Deep experience in AWS. - Experience with DevOps practices and modern technologies. - Familiarity with AWS cloud networking. - Lean and agile ways of working. - Familiarity with IT product management practices. - Strong communication and networking skills. **Entry-Level Requirements:** - Educational qualifications (e.g., BE, BTech, MCA). - 9-12 years of experience in developing and supporting IT solutions. - Experience working in a global context.
