Technical Delivery Engineer - 2nd Line (Database)

As a Technical Delivery Engineer at unifyCX, you will play a crucial role in supporting UK organizations to operate effectively and securely in the cloud. Your main responsibilities will revolve around monitoring service queues, providing support for Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and resolving client tickets in line with Six Degrees record management processes and ITIL standards. Your focus will also include end-to-end data architecture reviews, performance analytics, reporting, and working directly with client tools, vendors, and suppliers. Your day-to-day tasks will involve responding to incidents, resolving incidents within SLAs, planning and completing service requests, implementing out-of-hours service requests, and potentially being part of an on-call rota to support out-of-hours incidents. Qualifications and Requirements: - BTech/Mtech, BCA/MCA, or University degree in a related discipline - Relevant technology certifications in database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2-2022, Azure SQL Database, and ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience - Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex systems and environments - Understanding of ITIL processes, particularly change and incident management - Proven experience in effective communication - Flexible to work in shifts as necessary - Skills in verbal and written communication, collaboration, continuous improvement, quick learning, relationship building, and foundation-level technical background in SQL Server At unifyCX, we are dedicated to providing personalized contact centers, business processing, and technology outsourcing solutions to clients worldwide.
