Technical Delivery Engineer - 2nd Line (Database)

As a Technical Delivery Engineer at unifyCX, your main role is to monitor the Service queues to ensure timely resolution of client raised cases, with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB support. Your responsibilities will include performance optimization and security of clients" Microsoft SQL Server environments, end-to-end data architecture reviews, resolution of client tickets following Six Degrees record management processes and ITIL standards, support for performance analytics and reporting, and working directly with client tools, vendors, and suppliers. Your primary duties will involve: - Responding to Incidents referred to the team queue - Resolving Incidents within the customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) - Planning, scheduling, and completing Service Requests within SLA - Implementing out-of-hours Service Requests - Participating in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours Incidents approximately once every 4 weeks Qualifications required for this position: - BTech/Mtech, BCA/MCA, or University degree in a related discipline - Relevant technology certifications in at least one associate level related to Database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2-2022, Azure SQL Database, ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation To excel in this role, you should have: - 5+ years of professional experience - Working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex systems and environments - Understanding of ITIL processes, especially change and incident management - Proven experience in effective communication - Flexibility to work in shifts when necessary - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Collaborative and continuous improvement mindset - Quick learner adaptable to ambiguous situations - Strong relationship building skills - Foundation level technical background in SQL Server: SQL Server 2008 R2-2019, Azure SQL Database,
