The Technical Business Analyst role at Hogarth involves engaging with clients, analyzing business needs, and translating them into clear functional requirements. This position is pivotal in driving positive change, streamlining processes, and aligning business objectives with technical implementations. Successful candidates will possess a blend of analytical, communication, and technical skills, coupled with experience in Agile environments. Responsibilities: - Conduct workshops and client calls to gain a deep understanding of business needs. - Translate requirements into clear, specific functional specifications. - Analyze existing business processes, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with technical solutions. - Demonstrate fundamental skills such as time management, communication, problem-solving, and research. - Develop comprehensive functional specifications, refined briefs, and user stories. - Match business requirements with technical solutions and conduct data analysis for process improvement. The role of Technical Business Analyst reports to the Senior Technical Lead in London, collaborating closely with technical, project management, and QA teams. This position is also responsible for overseeing Business Analyst team members across the four offices. Requirements: - Proficiency in Agile technologies and project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Miro. - Strong ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications. - Proficient in data analysis to support decision-making. - Experience with web technologies, mobile applications, web services, and design tools like Figma. - Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and CMS platforms is beneficial. - Certification in business analysis is a plus.
