In this role, you will: Strong understanding of ARIS object model, including methods for accessing, filtering, and processing ARIS database objects and their attributes efficiently. Ability to structure scripts into modular, maintainable functions to optimize memory usage and performance, avoiding global variables and deep function stacks. Adopt best practices in ARIS report scripting, such as explicit variable declaration, error handling using try/catch blocks, and proper resource cleanup after errors or database operations. Ability to creating and managing user-defined attributes and models, ensuring correct handling of TypeGUIDs to maintain report stability across server restarts. Ability to prepare reports for scheduling (removing user dialogs, setting appropriate flags) and optimizing for execution without manual intervention. Proficiency with the latest ARIS script editors and debugging tools, such as browser-based IDEs with auto-completion, error highlighting, and productivity features Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Person should have 6+ years of Experience in ARIS Development, Business Process Management, JavaScript and APIs Advanced proficiency in ARIS scripting using JavaScript, including the ability to leverage ARIS APIs for custom report logic and data extraction. Experience with Java or similar languages for enhancing report functionality and integrating with external systems as needed.
