As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating offshore software development operations, ensuring effective team coordination, and supporting onshore development managers. This role involves a mix of technical leadership and project management to drive the analysis, design, development, and deployment of systems. You will lead, mentor, and manage multiple offshore software development teams, including software engineers, business analysts, and quality assurance testers. Additionally, you will assist onshore Software Development Managers and QA Managers with team coordination, project planning, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating on system development, managing multiple teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. You will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, proven experience in managing software development for US-based software product companies, and a strong technical background in Microsoft Azure, .NET, SQL Server ecosystems. Additionally, familiarity with Scrum or agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and project management tools will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and previous experience in the US mortgage or financial software industry.
