As a Technical Analyst - Reference data technology at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in the digital landscape. Your primary responsibilities will include harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization. - Develop business requirements that address business problems and opportunities effectively. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations. - Support the creation of business cases justifying investment in proposed solutions. - Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. - Create reports on project progress to ensure timely delivery within budget. - Design operational and process solutions to deliver proposed solutions within the agreed scope. - Support change management activities to successfully implement proposed solutions. Qualifications Required: - Degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent. - Proven business and functional analysis skills, particularly in a data domain. - Experience in data integration, mastering, and distribution. - Ability to gather requirements from senior project stakeholders in multiple global locations. - Knowledge of Agile Development Lifecycle (SCRUM). - Proficiency in analyzing data, mapping data, and designing functional solutions. - Hands-on experience with SQL queries. Additionally, highly valued skills may include: - Knowledge of Investment Banking and Client Reference Data. - Understanding of trade lifecycle, product types (bonds, equities, derivatives), and Trade Settlements. - Familiarity with tools like Visio, UML, MS Access, .NET, Confluence, and JIRA. This role is based in Pune and will require you to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with other functions and lead a team to deliver impactful work that affects the whole business function. Your role will involve setting objectives, coaching employees, and appraising performance to achieve desired outcomes.
