You will be joining Azodha as a Technical Lead - Backend (Node JS+ Typescript), playing a crucial role in developing, scaling, and leading the backend systems for their disruptive healthcare product. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with the founder/CEO to shape the product vision, drive product development, and build a strong technical team. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Leadership/Partner with CEO:** Shape the product vision, define technical strategy, and drive product development from concept to execution. - **Team Leadership and Development:** Lead, mentor, and grow the technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. - **Technical Excellence:** Design, develop, and scale backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. - **Data Management and Integrity:** Oversee efficient data management and integrity using technologies like Prisma or TypeORM and relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with designers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. - **Continuous Improvement:** Stay updated with the latest trends in backend development, driving innovation and efficiency within the team. - **Operational Oversight:** Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and ensure system stability and performance, maintaining high code quality and best practices through code reviews. **Requirements:** - 6+ years of backend development experience, including leadership roles. - Strong experience in building and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM. - Proficiency in cloud services, particularly AWS. - Background in cross-system architecture, security, database design, and system integration. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience in a high-growth startup environment with Agile methodologies. - Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and passion for scalable solutions. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with additional backend technologies like Python or Go. - Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes. - Prior experience in the healthcare industry or with health tech products. - Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the tech community.
