Tech Support - VDP

Role Overview: As a technical support engineer, your main responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to customers, dealers, and field technicians by diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and network components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems, create detailed technical documentation, and assist in developing technical training programs. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support through various channels like phone, email, and remote access tools. - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to intrusion and IP VDP system, network protocols, IP configurations, and video management software. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product OEM teams to resolve complex technical problems. - Conduct remote diagnostics to identify system faults and guide customers through troubleshooting steps. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation such as troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and FAQs. - Assist in developing and delivering technical training programs for customers, dealers, and internal teams. - Ensure accurate and timely recording of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the support ticketing system. Qualification Required: - Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - Familiarity with industry standards and protocols such as SIP, ONVIF, RTSP, TCP/IP, and PoE. - Graduation/Diploma in any relevant field. Additional Details: Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits, installations, and training sessions.
