Description
Tech Lead will develop information systems by studying operations; designing, developing and installing software solutions; support and develop software team. Tech Lead will lead or provide architectural solutions to a team of developers responsible for building new and support existing application. The Engineering Team Lead plays a central role in steering project direction and ensuring that the teams efforts align with organizational goals. This position involves a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as it requires overseeing the development and implementation of engineering solutions while fostering a collaborative and productive environment. By coordinating tasks, managing resources, and facilitating communication among team members and with other departments, the Engineering Team Lead ensures projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This role also involves mentoring team members, encouraging professional growth, and maintaining the quality of engineering outputs to meet both customer expectations and industry standards About the role : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle Lead the technical design and architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the companys technology roadmap. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Protect operations by keeping information confidential Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed Mentor and support the professional development of team members, including conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, and facilitating career growth opportunities. First and foremost, developing software our users need Mentor junior and mid-level engineers Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new products Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals Be a persistent, creative problem solver Remain cool and effective in a crisis Stay on the leading edge of development practices Passionate about great technologies, especially open source Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them About you: 11+ years of experience as a Senior software engineer Knowledge of C#, ReactJS or JavaScript (ECMAScript 6 +) Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience of implementing SOLID/OOP concepts in software development 4+ years professional experience in professional web development Experience working in an agile environment Experience building complex web systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies.
