Tech Lead | Node Js

You will be responsible for leading backend architecture and development using Node.js and microservices-based design. Your role will involve designing, building, and scaling backend services, APIs, and real-time data processing pipelines. You will spearhead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and make strategic decisions on scalability and system design. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, frontend developers, and QA will be essential. Optimizing MySQL databases and implementing efficient querying using Sequelize ORM will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to implement advanced search functionality with Elasticsearch and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps for cloud infrastructure optimization (AWS preferred). Enforcing best practices for code quality, performance, security, and testing will be crucial, along with mentoring and guiding a team of backend engineers to promote a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. As for the required skills and qualifications, we are looking for candidates with 6+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js. Proven experience in designing and scaling backend systems in the E-commerce domain is highly desirable. A solid understanding of Express.js, Sequelize ORM, and MySQL is necessary, as well as experience working with Elasticsearch for search indexing and querying. Proficiency in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and RESTful API development is expected. Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker is also required. Strong debugging skills and experience troubleshooting performance and scalability issues are essential. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are a must, as you will be responsible for mentoring junior developers and leading project initiatives.,
