Position Summary: We re seeking a Tech Lead - Mobile with a strong command of Android (Kotlin) and familiarity with iOS development (Swift) to drive our mobile technology initiatives. This role involves a balance of hands-on coding (70% IC) and team leadership (30%). You ll play a key role in defining mobile architecture and delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance sports engagement. Key Responsibilities: Leadership Collaboration Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of mobile developers across Android and iOS platforms. Provide architectural guidance and ensure best practices in design, development, and coding. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, backend, and QA, to deliver unified experiences. Mobile Development Own and manage the mobile tech stack, focusing on Android (Kotlin) and contributing to iOS (Swift) development. Drive the creation of robust, high-performing mobile applications optimized for scalability and user experience. Ensure seamless integration and consistency between Android and iOS apps. Project Ownership Take end-to-end ownership of mobile projects, from ideation to deployment. Deliver high-quality features on time while balancing technical debt and business needs. Stay abreast of emerging trends in mobile technology and adopt best practices. Qualifications and Skills: Technical Expertise Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile development, with a strong focus on Android (Kotlin). Familiarity with iOS development using Swift and a good understanding of cross-platform nuances. Proficiency in mobile architectures (MVVM, MVC) and integration with RESTful APIs. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for mobile applications. Knowledge of performance profiling tools and optimization techniques for both Android and iOS. Leadership Skills Proven experience leading a team, mentoring developers, and managing technical roadmaps. Ability to align team efforts with project goals and deliver impactful results. Problem-solving Communication Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving user-centric problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
