Blackline FICO Consultant We are looking for a skilled Consultant to join our finance and accounting team on a project to implement, configure, and optimize the BlackLine platform.
Closely working with finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure the effective deployment and utilization of BlackLines solutions to automate and streamline the financial close, reconciliation, and compliance processes. You will leverage your expertise in BlackLine, financial systems, and process optimization to deliver a best in class solution that meets business requirements while adhering to BlackLines best practices. Primary Functional Requirement: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial close processes Experience with SAP data integration concepts Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills to collaborate with accounting teams and stakeholders Basic technical knowledge for system administration tasks Key Responsibilities: Lead or assist in the implementation of the BlackLine platform, ensuring the solution is tailored to the organizations business processes and accounting workflows. Configure BlackLine modules, including account reconciliations, task management, journal entries, and close management, to meet client requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to define and map business processes, identify opportunities for automation, and ensure the solution meets business goals. Ensure proper integration with SAP and other financial tools. Provide end user training and support to ensure a smooth transition to BlackLine and facilitate user adoption. Create user documentation, including training materials and process guides for business users. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the platform post implementation. Provide ongoing support to end users, helping resolve issues, answering questions, and optimizing the use of BlackLine. Continuously monitor system performance, providing suggestions for system improvements or additional features that could enhance operational efficiency. Assist in regular updates and system upgrades to ensure BlackLine is used to its fullest potential. Experience: Experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems implementations, with a strong understanding of the financial close, reconciliation, and reporting processes. Prior experience with SAP is highly preferred. Skills: Strong knowledge of BlackLines modules (Account Reconciliation, Task Management, Journal Entries, Financial Close, etc.). Ability to gather and document business requirements, map processes, and configure BlackLine to meet these requirements. Experience in system integrations between BlackLine and ERP or other financial software. Strong communication skills to work with business users, IT, and management. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system related issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
