Technical Lead - Data Automation, Power BI & ML Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive data automation, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives for our US Healthcare RCM practice. This role requires strong technical expertise in Power BI, data engineering, ML/AI solutions, and proven leadership in delivering complex analytics projects. You will lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists while maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture, design, and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership & Architecture (40%)

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for data automation, BI, and ML projects in US Healthcare RCM domain
• Design and implement scalable data automation frameworks using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms
• Architect enterprise Power BI solutions including data models, semantic layers, and governance frameworks
• Define ML/AI solution architecture for revenue forecasting, and RCM optimization use cases
• Establish technical standards and best practices for data engineering, ETL/ELT, BI development, and ML pipelines
• Review and approve technical designs, data models, and code from team members
• Drive automation-first approach across all data workflows and reporting processes

Team Leadership & Delivery Management (30%)

• Lead and mentor a team of 8-15 data engineers, BI developers, and ML engineers
• Conduct sprint planning, task allocation, and workload balancing across team members
• Perform code reviews, architecture reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Manage technical delivery timelines, milestones, and dependencies
• Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively

Client Stakeholder Management (20%)

• Lead as primary technical point of contact for clients to drive requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Present technical architectures, demos, and solutions to client stakeholders and leadership
• Conduct weekly/bi-weekly status meetings with client technical and business teams
• Manage client expectations regarding timelines, scope, and technical feasibility
• Handle technical escalations and change request management

Hands-On Technical Contributions (10%)

• Develop complex Power BI solutions: advanced DAX, data modeling, optimization
• Build critical data pipelines and automation frameworks
• Implement ML models for production deployment
• Create technical documentation: architecture diagrams, design documents, runbooks
• Participate in troubleshooting and performance optimization for critical systems
• Develop reusable frameworks and accelerators for team use

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
• OR equivalent practical experience (10-14 years in technical roles)
