Line Artist

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality

  black-and-white line illustrations

  as per subject-specific references and academic inputs.
• Translate educational conceptsranging from science experiments, environmental scenes, anatomy diagrams, to general knowledge visuals—into clear line-based visuals.
• Follow art briefs, style guides, and templates provided by the creative or subject teams.
• Ensure visual consistency and scalability (especially for digital use) through clean strokes, vector hygiene, and accurate proportions.
• Coordinate with medical artists, coloring artists, and art QC team for feedback and revisions.
• Maintain layered and well-named file structures as per project protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in

  line drawing or sketching

  for educational content, comics, medical/scientific illustrations, or publishing.
• Proficiency n

  Adobe Illustrator

  (preferred), or equivalent vector-based drawing tools.
• Strong command over

  proportions, perspectives, line weight

  , and

  visual clarity

  .
• Ability to create illustrations from scratch or based on rough concept sketches or photo references.
• Comfortable handling subject-diverse illustrations (from Biology and Physics to Geography and EVS).
• Must be able to meet tight production deadlines and handle multiple illustrations per chapter/unit.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Illustration, Animation, or Design.
• Familiarity with

  school curriculum standards

  (CBSE/ICSE/NCERT) or international academic content.
• Experience in working with creative production studios, publishers, or K–12 content providers.
