Team Member - Intellectual Property (Formulation)

Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in supporting product development by providing timely intellectual property (IP) inputs to stakeholders such as Regulatory Affairs (RA), Research and Development (R&D), etc. to ensure a smooth product launch. You will also provide insights on patent litigation and opposition to align with product strategy in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, you will undertake due diligence of products to inform stakeholders about key patent rights for potential acquisitions or early launches. Your role will involve identifying new product opportunities, evaluating innovative ideas for patent protection, conducting patent searches, and filing patent applications to enhance the patent estate. Moreover, you will lead due diligence activities for products of interest to highlight the value proposition for acquisitions, licensing, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals from an IP perspective. Key Responsibilities: - Support product development through timely provision of IP inputs to stakeholders - Provide insights on patent litigation and opposition aligned with product strategy - Conduct due diligence of products to identify key patent rights for acquisitions or early launches - Identify new product opportunities and evaluate ideas for patent protection - Conduct patent searches and file/prosecute patent applications - Lead due diligence activities for products of interest in M&A deals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) or Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm), preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law - Relevant experience of 8 years for B. Pharm holders or 6 years for M. Pharm holders, preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law Additional Details: You should have relevant techno-legal experience in regulated markets and possess in-depth knowledge of Patent laws in India, the US, and Europe. An eye for detail and acumen for Paragraph IV filings in the USA will be beneficial for this role.,
