Team Member - FC&A

The Lead will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of activities related to the process validation of orders and all statutory requirements, as well as budgetary control MIS and other system-related issues. They will provide commercial support to ensure seamless functioning through inputs on direct tax, indirect tax, finance, legal matters, and tax optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Review and validate purchase orders and contracts from a commercial and finance perspective. - Ensure the optimization of taxes and duties through knowledge of both direct and indirect taxation. - Implement tax optimization strategies for package items, construction contracts, and work contracts. - Provide commercial support to the Procurement Team for various special jobs such as job work and fabrication of spools. - Offer direct tax and international tax advice for foreign contracts. - Finalize and validate the terms of contracts to ensure adherence to company standard policies. - Coordinate with IDT/DT teams for taxation issues related to procurement. - Ensure that work orders, purchase orders, commitment letters, and LOIs are issued as per approvals and verify compliance with standard procedures and guidelines. - Compare rates awarded in other purchase orders based on SAP material codes. - Incorporate PF/other applicable labor law compliances/insurance as per corporate guidelines in purchase orders/work orders. - Review stock levels, consumption trends, and conduct cost-benefit analysis for purchase vs. leasing decisions. - Analyze and validate cost-plus mark-up estimates prepared by the procurement team by understanding assumptions and business needs. - Review the requirement of advances/SBLC, etc. - Supervise and guide team members to achieve the above responsibilities. - Prepare periodic MIS reports as per management guidelines.,
